About Me
Rachel Perry is best known for her long career as a Muchmusic and VH1 VJ. A small-town Canadian of British immigrants, and an art school dropout, Rachel has trained as an actress in NY, LA and Second City Chicago Improv. She lives in LA and is mother to one son, a yorkie and a yellow lab. A 'seeker' in life she enjoys meditation, listening to audiobooks about philosophy, psychology, neuroscience and behavior, the nature of consciousness, morality and ethics, stoicism, politics, and Carl Jung. She hates hiking, crowds and snails, and loves good TV shows, coin-pusher arcade games, Little League Baseball, and Halloween.
She is known for being The Voice of VH1 on countless countdown shows and once filled in for Mike Rowe on ‘DIRTY JOBS’ to clean out a sludge tank.
She has narrated hundreds of audiobooks since 2016, and worked with Tantor, Macmillan, John Marshall Media, Lantern, Hachette, PRH, Dreamscape, Harper, among others. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, PANA and the APA.
